“The Wonder of PEACE” 

LUKE 2:13-15 (NLT)

¹³ Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying, ¹⁴ “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” ¹⁵ When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

The PATH to PEACE

1. It can only be found in JESUS.

LUKE 2:14 (NLT) ¹⁴ Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.

Romans 5:1 (NLT) Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

2. It comes to those who are SURRENDERED.

Luke 2:15 (NLT) ¹⁵ When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

ISAIAH 26:3 (NLT) ³ You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

ISAIAH 48:22 (NLT) “But there is no peace for the wicked,” says the Lord.

3. It calls us to share with OTHERS.

JOHN 14:27 (NLT) ²⁷ “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.
